In the East Ayrshire region in southwest Scotland, HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions (UK) Ltd., a subsidiary of HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions GmbH, plans, finances, builds and operates seven schools at four different locations on the basis of a public-private partnership (PPP) contract. HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions (UK) holds a 50-percent share in the project company. HOCHTIEF's partners are Norddeutsche Landesbank, London (30 percent) and PFI Infrastructure Finance Ltd. (20 percent).

The project runs over a period of 30 years and represents a contract volume of some EUR 476 million. It is HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions' third PPP project in the UK.
