In fall 2007, HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions GmbH was awarded the contract for a public-private partnership (PPP) school project in Cologne. Within the framework of this assignment, the project company HOCHTIEF PPP Schulpartner Köln Rodenkirchen GmbH & Co. KG, specifically set up for this purpose, will realize an architecture contest-winning design at a comprehensive school in Cologne-Rodenkirchen.

This involves financing, building and operating the school, and the old building will be demolished. The project has a contract volume of EUR 132 million. The Cologne-Rodenkirchen comprehensive school provides all-day teaching for 1,200 pupils.
