In the towns located in the eastern parts of the rural district of Offenbach, HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions is refurbishing, financing and operating 50 schools. The contract for what currently is Germany's biggest PPP project in the field of public-sector building construction was awarded to the company in October 2004.

The project represents a contract volume of some EUR 410 million and comprises a total of 282 buildings covering more than 282,000 square meters of space.

Since January 1, 2005, the project company HOCHTIEF PPP Schulpartner GmbH has been managing the schools and will ensure smooth school operations until the end of 2019.
