HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions currently realizes or operates seven road projects in Germany, Austria, Greece and Chile, with a total length of more than 750 kilometers. This also includes the 29-kilometer-long Vespucio Norte Express in Santiago de Chile. At the end of fiscal 2008 HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions had sold a further indirect 3.75 percent stake in the project and hence reduced its interest in the toll highway from 45.45 percent to 29.2 percent. This sale is part of the active management of the concession portfolio, the key element in HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions' strategy. The transaction reduced the amount of capital tied up in the product, created a duplicable structure for future share sales and also documented the net present value of the shares held by the company.
